Ascension is always on a Thursday. Many people have the following Friday off and want to make a extra long Ascension weekend of it, but a ascension midweek is of course also possible. As many houses are only rented out during this period whole weeks provides more choice.

This is a fantastic destination if you want to get away from it all with the kids. But even without children, there is plenty to do here. Visit the cosy restaurants and enjoy the beautiful nature. It can often be very nice weather during Ascension. You can stay in a flat, tent or holiday home.
